My passion for property began at a young age, driven by a dream of becoming a property developer. At just 19, I found a property I wanted to purchase and eagerly approached the bank for a mortgage. However, I was told that to succeed as a developer, I needed substantial funds—something I didn’t yet have. Though initially disappointed, I was given invaluable advice: to become an estate agent first, gaining hands-on experience and learning the intricacies of the industry, including the legal processes.
For a while, I put my dream on hold, continuing in my office job. But when an independent estate agency opened a branch in my village, I saw an opportunity to try again. I was thrilled to secure the role and quickly realised I had found my calling. Learning everything from the ground up and rapidly progressing to branch manager, I loved every aspect of the process—from viewings to valuations, property take-ons to sales progression.
After seven years in the industry, I welcomed my beautiful daughter. While I took some time out, my passion for property never faded. I continued to assist friends and family with their sales and purchases, and even helped my parents fully renovate their new home.
